Hi there folks.
Nice to meet you.
My name is JAMCUSA ARTHUR now known as MAX.
When I was born on June 22nd 2006 I had a really bad umbilical hernia and lots of my insides were hanging on the outside!
Although Jane had heard about us, she'd never actually been presented with one of us...until 2006 when she had three one after the other in three different litters!! Thankfully I was third time lucky as the first was stillborn, the second had most everything outside and died within 10 minutes. I came out fighting and when Jane picked me up placenta, giblets and all, I was a'kicking and a'screaming so she rushed me up to her vets to see if I could be "fixed".
Me at One Week .............Two Weeks ........ and ........Three Weeks Old.
So I made it to three weeks old and things are going really well. Jane thinks I'm almost out of the woods now. When I wake from my naps I always seek out Jane and shout very loudly for a cuddle...just a quick 5 minutes..that's all I want and then I'm happy to venture off on my explorations within the confines of the kitten room.
Here I'm 6 weeks old and my brothers and I are now "downstairs". We're free to ramp around this great big room and be "socialised" I don't know what that means but there's lot's of people and LOTS of cuddles to be had. There are little people downstairs too and we get rides in a big yellow dump truck and something called a dolly pram. That has soft blankets and is cozy and warm I like the dolly pram best.
There's lots of high places to watch the world from and big squishy sofas to sleep on too. We like the fluffy cushions the best and we drag them on the floor and snuggle down to have 40 winks. Trouble is they're a bit too heavy to get back on the sofa and when Jane comes down in the morning she gets all huffy and puffy and waves her arms about. I always put on my innocent face so I never get scolded.
11 weeks old and I've been a little bit poorly. I had a bad reaction to my vacinations and have been feeling really rotten. On top of this I've been having trouble having a wee. Jane took me to see the vet man and he said I have cystitis and has given me some pills called antibottle ticks or something like that.
My tummy operation is much better now and it looks like I won't have anymore problems there.

At 13 weeks I was feeling much better. Those Antibottle pill thingys certainly did the trick and everything is comfortable now. Just look at those whiskers folks...aren't they something else. Jane says I could put a walrus to shame....what's a walrus?
Below I'm 15 weeks old and waiting for my new people to come and collect me and Cissie Boo. We're going to live in London with Tamsin and Ben. Ben is really tall and I remember when he came to see me for the first time he sat in Jane's computer chair and I was so curious I climbed up his legs and sat on his lap just looking at him. He said hello and I thought ok let's take a closer look so I climbed right up and sat on his shoulder whilst he and Tamsin talked to Jane.
Ta Ta for now. I'll check back again later

Update
These are the first pictures Tamsin and Ben sent Jane of Cissie and me. My name is now Maximus Gluttus, Max for short, and Cissie Boo is now called Bella. We like it here with Tamsin and Ben and I've made friends with Uncle Jon. Bella is teaching Tamsin and Ben the true meaning of naughty tortie.
